There was a Reuben Underwood, b. 1804 in KY living in Monroe Co, MO - his wife Nancy was 39 (born about 1811 in KY). their children had some names in common with this Fry family - Julia A, 15, Elizabeth 13, Amanda 12, Emily 9, James W., 6. Alfred, 4.
James M. Fry, age 35, lived with them, b. KY [since this seems to be Nancy's brother, I'm sure this is the correct Nancy Fry and James W/M in this census)
and also Benjamin Underwood, age 18
