Amos W. Williams

On 19 Apr 1815, a presentment was issued by the Breckinridge Co Grand Jury against Amos Williams for profanely Swearing one oath. He paid a fine and costs.
Deed of gift from Deed Book E, p.224, Breckinridge County, from Amos to Dorcas Comstock for love and affection, the negro girl Pegg which was formerly in the possession of my daughter Patsy Comstock. 19 Jul 1820.
Will dated 28 Oct 1825, confirms the above gift and gives to granddaughter, Dorcas Comstock one bed and furniture, one horse and saddle of $60 value. My son, Henry W. Williams to retain said property in trust until my granddaughter is twenty years or marries. Names wife Dorcas; sons William, Hugh, James, Otho, George, and Henry W.; daughter Sarah Carter and Verlinda Martin. Breckinridge Co KY Will Book 1, p.54 & 55 and Hancock Co Will Book 2, p.68. Children were all listed in his Will; order of birth unknown.
