Thomas Redus

(1776 - 27 Feb 1844)



Thomas said to have been the owner of the "Old Witty Mill" near Elmore, AL. He was one of the first settlers in what is now Limestone County. He is said to have come with his brother, William Redus, William & James Simms, James Witty, John Maples, Benjamin Murrell and Mr. Pridemore. He was one of the first five commissioners of Limestone County.
