There is an Ambler Chick in Goochland County VA who married Polly Ragland 30 Oct 1811. He was 21 years of age. Based on census and cemetery records these are the parents of Ambler Chick, Jr. Interesting that the Chicks were from Goochland as were the Hadens and Ambler Jr's wives were both Haden descendants.
Maria Rogers, Ambler Chick's 2nd wife, was a 1st cousin to Ambler Chick's 1st wife, Martha Haden.
By 1870, Ambler is found in the Logan Co Census with Maria. He was age 45, b. VA. Clay Prec, p.301b, Household 156. Maria was 31, b. KY. Children were Bettie 10, Lucy 5, and Emily 2. Also living with the family was Rely Thomas age 14, doing form labor. Clarisa Rogers, "Domestick" age 35 with Leoney age 6 and William age 1. And Rachel Chick age 20, also "Domestick". Clarisa & Rachel no doubt are relatives.
