From the publication cited: married Rebecca Bivin, daughter of Charles Bivin. Breckinridge Co KY. Died 14 Apr 1883, Davies Co, KY. This seems to be wrong....
The DAR application of Member #787775, re Ancestor #A048976, Anthony Hadden - has very different information for Henry Eidson. The same birth date is given, as from the Moorman Bible, but his death is shown in Iron County, Missouri, 24 May 1870 and his first wife stated to be Mary Buford, b. 1 Nov 1794, Bedford Co VA, died Iron Co MO, 28 Nov 1854. They married 2 Aug 1810, Breckinridge Co KY. Their daughter Mary Jane Eidson, b. 27 Jul 1815 in Breckinridge, d. Iron Co MO, 23 Sep 1868, married 13 Mar 1832, Madison Co MO to Andrew Lewis George.
Kentucky Marriages at Ancestry, does have the marriage of Henry Eidson to Polly Buford, 2 Aug 1810, Breckinridge Co KY. There is no record of a marriage in Kentucky for another Henry Eidson, or for a Rebecca Bivin (fuzzy spelling).
