Rev War Pension R-10872. The file is over 150 pages. He served as a Master Forager under his father maintaining stores at the White House. His Bible record was copied into the file with births of children, etc. His wife's request for pension was denied because she was not yet a widow when the Act was passed. His pension was in dispute because of his young age and a question whether or not he was actually in service to the United States - he did receive it however.
