At least one database has a different Mary Elizabeth Easterling, b. 12 Oct 1851, died 1902 in Barbour Co, AL - I doubt this is correct. Especially since by 1896, Crawford had married Malona Bice.

1859: Mary Mims, mother of Mary Elizabeth Easterling died, possibly from complications of child birth.

1862: James Aron Johnson, father of Crawford Beauregard Johnson died while serving with Company G, 6th Alabama Infantry Regiment, Confederate States Army.
December 29, 1867: James Elijah Easterling, father of Mary Elizabeth Easterling married Mahaley Taylor Mims who was the younger sister of his first wife.
