Mary G. Mims, 87, a lifelong Prattville resident, passed away Thursday, March 23, 2017. Visitation will begin at 11:00 AM Saturday March 25th at the Prattville First Baptist Church followed by a Celebration of Life service at 12:00 PM in the church sanctuary with Dr. Travis Coleman and Pastor Dave Burns officiating. Burial will follow in Prattville Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Mims was a longtime member of First Baptist Church. She is survived by a son and daughter in law Charles and Charlene Mims of Prattville; two grandchildren, Kristen Boshelle and her husband Jason, Brandon Mims and his wife Alison; two great grandchildren, Evan Mims and Aleigh Mims. Active pallbearers will be Jim Jackson, Frank Yeargan, Morris Yeargan, Robert Yeargan, David Gray and Jimmy Gray. Honorary pallbearers will be the Ruth Era Sunday School Class. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church.
