#26433. Alfred H. Wright, served in Co M, 12th Inf, Discharged 30 Sep 1919. When admitted to the Home he had defective vision, chronic tonsillitis and atrophy of the left testicle.
Born in Alabama, age 35, Protestant. Single. Nearest relative was Aunt Marika Bryant of Rt. 2, Clanton, AL (she must have been related on his mother's side of the family)

Alfred has a military grave marker. The application on Ancestry has that he enlisted 8 Aug 1918, was discharged 30 Sep 1919. He served as a private in Company M, 12th Infantry, 8th Division.
On 1 Oct 1954, Mrs. Alfred H. Wright, 215 Riverside Drive, Montgomery, applied for the marker to be placed in Shiloh Cemetery. Cecil V. Rainwater of Alexander City would place the stone in the cemetery.
