"Mrs. Ethel Easterling, age 28, died Monday at the local Hospital. Burial was at Sunshine Cemetery. She was the Wife of Johnnie Easterling. She is survived by her Husband, 3 Daughters, 2 Step-sons, and 1 step-daughter, and by her Father, Mr. Alfred Baker, 2 Brothers, and l Sister."

Daughter Zora Belle married Isaac Wiley Bice, 13 Mar 1902, Chilton Co.:
The death of Mrs. Wiley Bice occurred at Hill's Infirmary in Montgomery last Friday, March 3 (1922), where she had been under treatment for appendicitis. The deceased was the daughter of Mr. Alfred Baker, and was the third wife of Mr. Bice.
The remains were laid to rest Saturday at Walnut Creek cemetery, the funeral being preached by Rev. M. J. Parrish. A great number of sorrowing friends and relatives attended the burial.
Zora was born 18 Feb 1882 in Clanton.

MRS. ZORA BELL BICE
Mrs. Zora Bell Bice died at a local infirmary Friday morning at 10:15 o'clock following an extended illness. she was 40 years old and is survived by her husband I. W. Bice and five children. Her remains were sent from the Leak-McCarty chapel Friday afternoon at 3:45 o'clock to Clanton, Ala., where funeral services and interment will take place Saturday afternoon.

Baker, Alfred, Jr., age 86, died at the home of his son, Glaucus M. Baker of Maple Springs community last Thursday afternoon at 4:30 o'clock. Services were held Friday afternoon at 3 o'clock at Walnut Creek, conducted by Revs. T. B. Greenwood and N. K. Cook; Martin was directing. Grandsons served as pallbearers and grand daughters served as flower girls. Surviving are two sons, Glaucus M. Baker of Clanton, Route 2, and James Baker of Clanton Route 5. There is one daughter, Mrs. Susie Thompson of Clanton, Route 5. There are 21 grandchildren, 11 great grand children and 2 great great grand children. Alfred Baker was a member of a pioneer family of Chilton County. His father was Alfred Baker, Sr. who came here in 1825, was later representative in the Legislature from Autauga county which then comprised most of what is now Chilton county. He founded Clanton in 1870, donating most of the land. When this new county was formed in 1868 it was named Baker County in honor of Alfred Baker, which name it retained until 1875, when it became Chilton County. The mother of the deceased was Rebecca Mims Baker, member of another pioneer family.
