Bennie E. Agans, 50, of Green Rock, a retired foundryman at the Farmall Works of International Harvester Co, Rock Island, died at 8:20 this morning in St. Anthony's Hospital, where he had been a patient since Oct. 11.
He was born April 25, 1905, in Rushville, a son of Mr. & Mrs. Levi Agans. He attended school in that city and moved from there to the Quad-City area about 14 years ago. He worked at the Farmall plant until illness forced him to retire about two years ago.
He married Dorothy Staton on April 12, 1947 in Metropolus, IL.
Survivors are the widow; a sister, Mrs. Pearl Marlow, Macomb; and four brothers, Wilbert Agans & Winnie Agans, both of Camden, IL, Chester Agans, rushville, and Earl Agans, Macomb.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters.
The body is at Hodgon Funeral Home.
