COOKEVILLE – Funeral services for Vona Mae Alexander, 89, of Cookeville were today, June 22, at 1 p.m. in the chapel of Whitson Funeral Home. Burial was in Crest Lawn Cemetery.
Mrs. Alexander died Monday (June 20, 1988) in Masters Health Care Center.
Born May 29, 1899, in Jackson County, she was the daughter of the late George Robert and Ada Dennis Bean.
Mrs. Alexander was a restaurant owner and a member of the Church of Christ.
Her family includes one brother, Tom Bean of Cookeville, and several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Alexander was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Alexander.
