Will dated 2 Mar 1800 - Rowan County NC. Probate same year. Son David to have what he has already had. Son Benjamin Maxwell. Son Thomas to have 360 A on South Yadkin known as Robin Hood forest. Daughter Margaret Haden, wife of Joseph Haden to have 5 sh and what she has already had. Dau. Lea Meshea [Letitia - see deed from Davie Co below] Maxwell to have two feather beds. Also 14a, a lot that descended to Dianna Newton & her sister Margaret Haden, heirs of Thos. Maxwell dec'd. Betsy L. Leach, John Clement.
This deed solves several problems. The unreadable name of one of Thomas Maxwell's daughter was Letitia and she married Jenkins. Dianna Haden married Newton. I would also believe that the land in question was the 350 acres in Robin Hood Forest bequeathed to Thomas Maxwell the younger by his father's Will.
