VANDIVER
On Monday of last week Mrs. Nancy Whitfield, widow of the late J. B. Whitfield suffered a severe stroke, passing away that night. The funeral was held at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church conducted by Rev. J. D. Fleming, burial in the admoing cemetery. She had lived to see her 83rd birthday, September 3rd. She leaves a number of grandchildren.
