John Miller was of Goochland VA. His father may have been William Miller, at one time sheriff of Goochland. Children included Sarah who married George Mosely in Prince Edward County, Mary who married Robert D. Haden, Elizabeth who married a Ware, Susanna who married Eldridge, John C. and possibly William.
The family plantation in Goochland was called "Liitle Byrd Plantation" and neighbors include the Wares and Hadens
