Willis Loving, administrator of estate of James C. Slaughter vs. John B. Slaughter. In Sep of 1835, Thomas S. Slaughter, father of James C., deceased, was appointed administrator. In November of 1837 Thomas S. Slaughter died without having made any settlement. Thomas S. Slaughter's son, John B. Slaughter, was named in his will as his executor.
Filed: 9 Nov 1842. James C. Slaughter died intestate.

James died in the cholera epidemic.
