Joseph & Polly moved their family to Bartholomew Co., Indiana sometime between1810 and 1821. Joseph died in Clifty Creek, Bartholomew Co., Indiana in 1821. Mary died October 05, 1837 in Bartholomew Co., Indiana. They are buried (without a marker) in Sand Hill Cemetery, outside of present Columbus, in Bartholomew Co., IN.

"History of Clifty And Bartholomew"
Joseph McFall with his family landed at David Deller's March 29, 1920, but went down Clifty and settled near Sloan's branch, where they (he and his sons, Joseph, Jonathan & David), cleared a piece of ground and commenced tilling the soil. The fence consisted of their wagon, a log, and brush.
After McFall came Joseph Edwards and John R. Robertson, April 1820. Ransom Davis in July.
Polly was the daughter of William Marsh and Elizabeth Tharp/Thorp. She was born 1771, Bourbon Co, died 5 Oct 1837, Bartholomew Co IN.

25 Oct 1828. John (X) McFall rec'd $100 from the estate, paid by administrators, William & Holly (sic-surely should have been Polly) McFall.
8 Dec 1828. Joseph McFall rec'd $100 from the estate, paid by William & Polly McFall
18 Jul 1831, Johnathan (X) McFall signed that he had received $100.
