Erma Skeen
Erma "Mike" McKinley Skeen formerly of Stella and Wheaton, died at her home in Los Molinas, California, Tuesday, Feb 16. Funeral services and internment were Thursday at Los Molinas.
Mrs. Skeen was born July 6, 1904 at Stella to Charles and Isabelle McKinley. She operated beauty shops for several years in Stella and Wheaton before moving to Watsonville, CA in 1944. She was married September 22, 1946 to Everett E. Skeen who survives.
Mrs. Skeen was an area visitor with two nieces, Mrs. LaVaught Gilbert and Mrs. Annvere Frost of Joplin and attended the annual Stella School reunion.
