Came to America with his father April 1660, and was married by 1664.
He was on the assessment rolls of Flatlands, 1675 & 1683; listed as a member and Deacon of the Flatlands Dutch Church in 1677. He was a Magistrate in 1664 & 1673 and captain of the Militia in 1689. Court was a representative to the General Assembly held at City Hall in New Amsterdam, 10 Arp 1664 and a delegate to the Convention 26 Mar 1674 at New Orange. There were nince children.
