There is a will of a William Payne, Fairfax Co VA, 19 Mar 1813. No child Charles is named in this will. His wife was Elizabeth. Children were Polly, William, Elizabeth, James, Thomas, Lewis, Charity, Nancy and John. Presented for probate 20 Mar 1815.
