In the name of God—Amen; I George W. Barr being of sound mind and memory and knowing the uncertainty of life, do hereby make and declare this my last will and testament in manner and form following to wit:
First, I do hereby give, bequeath, and devise to my beloved daughter Mary A. Fulk, wife of R. F. Fulk, all my land and estate, said tracts of land situated in Stokes County, Yadkin township, adjoining the lands of R.F. Fulk, W.A. Sullivan, R. L. Wolff and others and known as the Hugh Phillips tract and a part of the Burrill Flynn tract of land, containing about fifty acres more or less.
Second, I do hereby nominate and appoint my said daughter Mary A. Fulk my lawful executrix of my last will and testament without bond or liability on account of said office as executrix to all intents and purposes to execute this my last will and testament, according to the true intent and meaning of the same, hereby revoking and declaring utterly void all other wills and testaments by me heretofore made.
In witness whereof, I the said George W. Barr do hereunto set my hand and seal this the 19th day of September 1914.
