In 1712, he bought land from Thomas Comstock at Woonsocket in North Smithfield. Paid taxes there from 1713 to 1748.

Early Records of the Town of Providence:
Vol. IX, p.29-30 23rd of Aprill 1716. Laying out of a highway through Wesquetomscutt and Wansocott Lands and so over the River Called the branch ...."Crassing the said path sevorall times with bounds plainely marked by Hazadiah Comestockes and a Long by Samuell Comestockes and Richard Spreagues to the Branch of the River" Signed by John Arnold, Henry Mawrey, Samuell Comestock Junr.

His Will was dated 14 Aug 1749, Central Falls, Rhode Island Proved 28 May 1753. Wife living but unnamed. Sons Obediah, Amos, Daniel & Enoch. Daughters Ruth Whitman, Zerviah Comstock, Abigail Croft, Urania Aldrich & Lydia Sprague.
