Thomas W and Ebalina Lewis moved to New Mexico from Bandera County, Texas in 1887 and settled in the Sacramento Mountains. Thomas Wafer Lewis passed away in Jim Lewis Canyon, Otero County, New Mexico, of pneumonia. Only five graves are noted in the cemetery - his and four young grandchildren.
