William Couwenhoven

(20 Jul 1700 - 10 Nov 1755)

William appears to have been born prior to his parents' marriage. Likely one of the dates is wrong.

In his will dated Sep 29, 1755, William mentioned his wife (but not by name), his children Williampe, Cornelius, and Catherine, the latter two under age, and his (former) father-in-law, Peter Wyckoff, to whom he owed a bond. The executors were his brother Roelof Covenhoven, and his son-in-law Mathias Conover; the document was witnessed by William Hendrickson, Garret Schenck, Johannes Bennet, and John Bowne.
