Lamira married Dr. Lewis Hume. A biology of his that appears in Genealogies of Kentucky Families, contains considerable information about his wife's lineage. She mentioned she descended from Paul Froman's son Jacob and also that she was a 6th generation descendant of the pioneer Jost Hite. She was in fact descended from Jost Hite in two ways, but in order for her to claim the 6th generations, Regina Froman would have had to the daughter of Paul Froman, not his sister. This is further proof of that relationship - many researchers have placed Regina as the sister of Paul Froman, but age-wise that never seemed quite right.
