Carrie Elizabeth Avery, wife of Wesley W. Avery died Saturday, June 22, 1907. of consumption, aged 30 years, 10 months and 24 days.
Carrie Elizabeth Knouse, the second daughter of Mr. & Mrs. James Knouse, was born in Rushville, Illinois, July 28, 1876, and died at the home of her parents in Bainbridge township. She was united in marriage to Wesley W. Avery March 30, 1896. To this union was born four children, three sons and one daughter, John, Warren, Gladys, and Berdette.
Deceased was possessed of a beautiful character and had endeared herself to a hot of friends, each of whom feel that in her death they have sustained a personal loss. The husband and motherless children have the sympathy of all in their great loss.
Funeral services, conducted by Elder Walter E. Harman, pastor of the Rushville Christian church, were held Sunday afternoon at the home of her parents. Interment was in the Gillett cemetery.
