Jonathan Comstock
(25 Mar 1788 - 28 Oct 1873)
Jonathan was a soldier in the War of 1812, serving at Plattsburg, Ft Niagara, and Ft Porter. He may have served with my ancestor Peter Buell Allen at Ft. Niagara. Jonathan did live in Gorham, Ontario Co NY before moving to Wisconsin.
Five of his sons served in the Civil War. One son, Truman, was killed at Gettysburg and his body never recovered.
