Haden Duncan of Millersburg, MO, died in Columbia, Boone Co on 24 Apr 1928. He had septicema apparently following flu and pneumonia [very difficult to read]. He had contracted the disease at his home in ??Co, MO, and had an opporation of the 11 of January, 1928. He was married to Amelia Bright Duncan. The date of birth not stated but he was 48 years, 5 months, 6 days at his death. A farmer. His father was Joseph William Duncan, born near Millersburg, MO; his mother was Mary Haden Duncan, b. near Columbia. Mrs. Haden Duncan was the informant. He was buried Columbia Cemetery. [not listed in this cemetery on FindAGrave, although Adelia and his parents are there]

Haden and Adelia were 2nd cousins, once removed. I wonder if they knew. Both were descendants of Capt. Anthony Haden and his first wife Drusilla Rountree.
