George Sprinkle

George said to be the son of Peter Sprinkle/Sprenchel of German ancestry who was in York Co PA by 1726. George is thought to have come to the area of Surry County in 1760's. He entered 250 acres on the Little Yadkin, 1782, near the present day Stokes & Forsyth County lines near Bethabara.
