David married Rebeca Briggs, daughter of Nathan on 25 Jan/Jun 1778. He married 2nd, 19 Apr 1792, Hannah Paris.

He was a Quaker, but a member of the New York Militia, 6th Regt. Albany Company. His will recorded 1827.

3 Mar 1807. David Comstock and wife Hannah of Berlin, Rensselaer Co, NY, deeded land in Williamstown, MA to Benjamin Thurber.

The Comstock book lists 17 children. Not all have birth dates and it's impossible to tell which ones were born to each wife and at least three died very young.
