Catherine was a sister to Hannah. She first married Chester Snyder, 12 June 1838, in Canada, by whom she had nie children. The Mormon men sometimes married widows in order to help support them - possibly that explains Catherine's marriage to her brother-in-law Solomon Wixom. They did not stay together and apparently there were no children. She left him and married Tobias Dallin, circa 1855-1857 and had two more children.

Catherine Dallin is buried Springville Cemetery, Springville, Utah Co, Utah.
