Martin Nix Mims

Said to have been a Revolutionary War soldier. He was on the payroll of Capt. John Hill's Company of militia at Ft. Martin, commanded by Col. Elijah Clarke, between Mar 1 and Aug 1 of 1782. His will is indexed in Book DD, of Wilkes Co GA but the wills themselves were destroyed in a fire.
Wife's surname unknown - given name was Martha.. Children may have been David Spivy Mims, William, Leroy, and Matthew Mims, Sarah and Elizabeth Mims [Elizabeth married Solomon Broom]. A daughter Winifred is also seen in some databases.
