Was there more than one John Nichols in Christ Church Parish? This one does not seem to be the father of Mary Nichols Mosely:

Will of John Nicholls of Christ Church, Middlesex County. All his land to grandson John Roads son of Hezekiah Roades and Thomas Bristow, son of John Bristow to be equally divided. John Bristow & Hezekiah Roades to be Executors. signed John Nicholls, by his mark. Dated 27 Nov 1705. Proved 8 Jan 1705/6

Some indicate that John was 1st married to a Dorothy Parson and had a daughter Michal who married John Bristow. Obviously this may not be the same man who married Mary Lewis and had a daughter Mary who married John Moseley- could be his son.
