Stephen Ruddell

Abraham and Stephen were taken captive when the Indians overran Ruddle's Fort in 1780. They grew up in the Shawnee town of Old Chillicothe, now Oldtown, Ohio. Stephen grew up with Tecumseh - he would eventually become a missionary to the Shawnee, and pastor of Cooper's Run Baptist Church.
