Elmira must have died before 1850. I found what seems to be two of her children in the 1850 census.
Almiron Marshall, age 2, lived with her sister Louisa Johnson. [his name makes me wonder if Elmira died in childbirth]
Levi Marshall, age 10, lived with his grandparents.

In 1850, Townsend Marshall, age 40, was living with the Peter Eastman family. He was a blacksmith, b. NY.
