Willie Harrison Adamson died at Allen Memorial Hospital, Bonham, Fannin Co TX, August 1, 1947. His home address was Rt. 1, Dodd City, Fannin Co. He was married at the time of his death. His was born 22 Apr 1895 [both the 1900 census and his tombstone give his birth year as 1894], Tennessee, and was 51 years, 9 months, 3 days at the time of his death. He was a barber. He died of a coronary occlusion [heart attack]. His father was W. J. Adamson, born in Tennessee; his mother Mahulda Jane McMillen, born Tennessee. His wife, Mrs. Irene Adamson, was the informant. The body was taken to Gober, TX, for burial.

W. H. Adamson, age 52, died at Allen Memorial Hospital Friday morning following a heart attack about a wekk previously. He was born April 22, 1895 in Tennessee. He came to Texas when young and was engaged in the barber trade here. He was a veteran of World War I.
Survivors are his widow, Mrs. Irene Adamson; two sons Herman & Robert Wayne Adamson; two daughters, Mrs. Lucile Gard, Rossville, Ind.; Mrs. Dorothy Marcelle Wehrmann, Paris; two brothers, J. A. Adamson of Dodd City and Gay Adamson of Denison; three sisters, Mrs. Vada Cunningham, Wolfe City, Rt. 1; Mrs. Era Trammell, Bonham; Mrs. Molly Anderson, Ivanhow.
Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon from the 1st Baptist Church conducted by Rev. John Salzman. Burial was in the Philadelphia cemetery near Gober, directed by Wise. Members of the Knights of Pythias lodge were pallbearers. Bonham Herald.
Will Adamson or "Shorty" as he was affectionately known was the father-in-law of William Wehrmann Jr. who is residing in Paris. [presumably, Paris, Texas]
