Jan Court 1816 Will of Nathaniel Pass written 12 Jan 1811. Sons Holloway, eldest, and Nathaniel. Daughters Sally Moore, Jemimah Williams, Mary Phelps, Ellis Taylor, Rebekah Burton, and Fanny Taylor. Sons John and Thomas. Grandson William Moore. Granddaughters Patsy Pass Williams, Fanny Ellis Gann, Nancy Burton. Grandsons John Felps, Thomas & Henry Taylor. Wife Ulsey to have land during lifetime and then to son Thomas. Exec: Son Thomas Pass. Wit: Ad. Murphey, John G. Murphey, H. Harrelson.

8 Nov 1836 Power of Attorney. Holloway Pass of Caswell to son-in-law George L. Wilson of Pittsylvania Co, VA to manage two suits brought against him by Stephen W. Allen. Wit: C. Graves

Holloway Pass wrote his will the 17th of August 1844, Caswell Co, NC. He was being sued for a valuable family of Negroes by the children of Judith T. Allen and the suit is yet pending. He gives the slaves to his executor until final determination of the suit. He directed his executor to collect all monies due him including those due from his sons-in-law Noel Burton, John Burton, George L. Wilson and from his son Nathaniel W. Pass. To son Richard S. Pass, the slaves in the lawsuit - the old woman Jane, or Jenny, the girl Abby and her child Elizabeth and any increase. Also his bed and furniture. After my death, all property real and personal to be sold except the Slaves given to Richard.
