Cornelius Snider

The parents of Cornelius are said to be Johannes Schneider and Gertrude Berg, both born in Germany. They were married 26 Jun 1780 in Frederick County, Maryland. The family moved from Maryland to Virginia about 1793, living first in Botetourt County and then moving to Montgomery County about 1809. [Montgomery was formed out of Botetourt - it's likely they didn't move at all.] They moved to Breckinridge County, KY in 1818 with five of their unmarried children. He is said to be on a Kentucky tax record, 1819, with 459 acres on Blackford Creek. The area said to have become Hancock County in 1828.
Cornelius is said to have been baptized 10 Mar 1793, Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church, Frederick Co, MD. His older siblings also have exact birthdates so I suspect there are baptismal records there.
