His father listed as Elder Bourland, b. NC, mother Martha Elizabeth White, b. TX. John Bourland of Ft. Worth was the informant [probably his brother]. James was buried Bourland Cemetery, Keller, TX

James' wife, died 18 Dec 1950, Death Certificate #60855. Lula C. Bourland. The same address was given on Roberts Cut-off. She was born 16 Aug 1876 and was 74 years, 4 months, 2 days, at her death. She was widowed. Her father Robert McCain, her mother listed as Lula Cordelina. Lee Bourland was the informant. She died of coronary occlusion, and general senility. She was buried Bourland Cemetery.

Death Certificate for Louis Edward Bourland, son of James Edward Bouland and Lula Cordelia McCain. Louis was born 19 Aug 1900, Keller, TX and died 29 Mar 1970, at the Northwest Hospital in Ft. Worth. His home was 5613 N. Schilder Drive in River Oaks, Tarrant Co, TX. He was married - probably to Mrs. Edna Bourland who was the informant. He served in World War I. Louis worked in plant protection at General Dynamics. He died of an acute Myocardial infarction [heart attack], but there is a note that there was an Inquest, apparently because he was D.O.A. at the hospital. Buried Bourland Cemetery, Keller, TX.
