In 1880, Larkins father Thomas, his brother William Thomas, his sister Lucy, and Larkin, were all enumerated one after the other. After the murder of James E. Comstock, testimony makes clear that he lived on the property that had belonged to his second wife Margaret Brasher, that of "Lark" Brasher, and it was next to Thomas Brasher [his brother, not his father who was by that time deceased].
One of the newspaper articles after the murder stated that Larkin Brasher had burned to death at El Dorado Springs.
