From what evidence is available in Michael Weisner's will, probated 1773, Rowan County, NC, and deed records of Stokes County, NC, Michael was a neighbor of his brother-in-law, Issac Williams. Issac married Rachel Pike, sister to Ruth Pike Weisner.
In his will probated in 1773, Michael willed his property as follows: Micajah, lower end of plantation adjoining the Issac Williams' plantation; John, the middle section; William, the upper section; his spouse, Ruth, and daughters, Ruth and Abigail, to live on the plantation and receive other compensations.
Other early land transactions involving Ruth and her children are also noted in the public records of NC.
