Clarence lived in the Allen Hotel in Troup, Smith Co. at the time of his death, 21 May 1960. He was age 74, born 1886. The informant was John Harmon [perhaps a relative of his aunt Nancy who had married a Harmon and they did have a son named John] He died of a heart attack and was dead on arrival. He is also noted to have had a chronic mental condition. He was buried Salem Cemetery.
