Charles Knight Bowles

The will of John Bowles, 1830, states his son Charles K. Bowles is to pay his sisters, Sally Glenn & Betsey Bowles and the heirs of sister Nancy Johnson, the sum of $80 each according to an agreement between John and Charles relative to a tract of land in Virginia. He is also to interest to his sisters from the time the land was sold, or the Executors are to deduct the amount from his share. Charles K. Bowles was also included in the list of children to receive an equal part of the remainder. He was one of the executors, listed as "of Virginia".
