Mary married F. Marion Stoy, 21 May 1874, according to the transcript of the Bible record.

It's interesting that in 1880, there was a Stoy family living in St. Louis Co, but their son Francis M. Stoy was age 14. They were in Bonhomme District as was Mary's family. Seems to be a relative because although I could not find the couple in 1880, I did find them beginning with 1900 in Texas.

Living in Precinct 8, Kaufman Co, TX were also the families of Harry M. Stoy & Thomas J. Stoy. In Precinct 3 was Thurman A. Stoy.

I found Texas Death Certificates for many members of the family on FamilySearch.org. Death Certificates in Texas are not always available prior to 1920, and I did not find one for Francis Marion Stoy.

Mrs. Mary Stoy, #26769. Born 28 Mar 1855, d. 4 May 1936, age 81 years 1 month, 6 days. She died there in Kaufman Co. The informant was M. W. Stoy, her youngest son. He gave her parents as Lee Wilson, b. KY, and Mary Price, b. MO. She was buried in Terrell, TX. Cause of death was angina and senility.

Arthur M. Stoy, #32314. Born 26 Jan 1877, died 19 Jun 1937, age 60 years, 4 months, 23 days, in Kaufman County, Precinct 3. Death was due to senility and "arteria-schrosis". The Informant was A. T. Stoy and he gave no information for parents.

Harry Mathew Stoy, #62013 b. 19 Mar 1885, died 2 Jul 1954 at age 69 years, 3 months, 13 days. He died in the Holton-Johnston Clinic in Terrell, Kaufman Co where he had been for 14 days following an acute cerebro-accident [stroke]. Senile arteriosclerosis was said to be a contributing factor. Mrs. Lillian Hollis was the informant and stated his father was F. M. Stoy, b. MO; his mother Marion Wilson, b. MO.

Grover Cleveland Stoy, #6193, born 28 Sep 1888 in Kaufman Co, died at the Wichita General Hospital, Wichita Falls, TX, on 23 Jan 1944, age 55 years, 8 months. His place of residence was the Wichita State Hospital where he was working as a Ward Attendant. He died of virus pneumonia. The informant was Mrs. Nolan Williamson of Terrell, TX. Father was given as Marion Francis Stoy, mother as Mary Wilson. Cleveland was buried in Terrell, TX.

Allen Thurman Stoy, #67031, born 28 Sep 1888 in Kaufman Co, died at the Alexander Hospital in Terrell, TX on 14 Sep 1967, age 78. His usual residence was 805 Lawrence Ave in Terrell. He died of broncho-pneumonia after an illness of 10 days; he also had arteriosclerosis. He was buried Oakland Memorial Park in Terrell. Parents listed as "Capt" Marion Francis Stoy and Mary Wilson.

Thomas Jefferson Stoy, #26198 born 15 Jan 1891, died 17 Jun 1946, age 55 years, 5 months, 2 days, at Baylor Hospital in Dallas. His residence was 1507 Fairview, Dallas where he had lived for four years. Informant was Mrs. Minnie Stoy. She did not know his mother's name and gave his father as F. M. Stoy, b.in Texas. He died of ventricular fibrillation but he had had carcinoma of the lung with systemic metastases for six months. Thomas is buried Grove Hill Cemetery in Dallas.

Robert Edwin Stoy, b. 15 Jan 1891, died 12 Feb 1964, age 73. He was D.O.A. from a probable heart attack at Polly Ryon Hospital in Richmond, Ft. Bend Co., TX. He lived in Simonton, Ft. Bend Co. R. M. Stoy gave his place of birth as Lawrence Co, TX [which was incorrect]. Parents are listed as F. M. Stoy and Mary Wilson. Buried Terrell Cemetery.

Marion Wilson Stoy, #81659, was born 23 Mar 1895. He died of a heart attack at age 75, 6 Nov 1970, in Precinct 3 of Kaufman Co, Rural Rt. 6, Terrell. He was a Veterans Service Officer for the VA. Mrs. M. W. Stoy was the informant. His father's name was Francis Marion Stoy; his mother Winifred Wilson. He must have died suddenly as there was an inquest. He was buried Kaufman Cemetery on November 8th.
