The family database had this man's named as James A. However he registered for the World War I Draft 12, Sep 1918 and gave his full name as Andrew James Haden. He was living in Bonham, age 41, b. 26 Jul 1877. He was a post office employee. Effie Haden, wife, given as nearest relative. He signed "Andrew James Haden". Description was medium height, slender build, blue eyes and brown hair.

Death certificate has name as A. James Haden. His brother E. D. Haden was the informant and listed his mother's name as Mary Keene, father as J. D. Haden. [later Elijah's death certificate will list his mother as Mary Morrison] The Mary N. Haden in Willow Wild Cemetery believed to be the wife of their father James D. Haden, was born in 1847 which matches census records and she did not die until 1885. No marriage record has been found for James and Mary. James died of peritonitis from a duodenal ulcer and is buried Willow Wild Cemetery in Bonham, TX.

James died in 1927. There is a birth record in Fannin Co for Mary Ruth Haden, born 16 Apr 1935; her mother's name listed as Effie Haden, no father given. Effie, wife of James in 1920 would have been too old to be this mother if she was age 41 in 1920.

Death of A. J. Haden
A. J. Haden, aged 49 years, died Allen Memorial Hospital Sunday 1:30. It is said his death was caused by appendicitis. Mr. Haden lived near Lamasco at the time of his death. The burial will be at Willow Wild cemetery, but the hour had not been set at the time the Favorite had its report of the death, pending the arrival of relatives.
Mr. Haden was born three miles southwest of Bonham on 26 Jul 1877. He spent his entire life in Fannin county. He is survived by his wife and one child. He had been a member of the Baptist church for many years.
