In 1880, both a Cora, age 10 and a Waty, age 7 were listed in the census as daughters. Waite has also been listed on FamilySearch as Cora Waite.

It is doubtful both were named Cora, but then there is the following Texas Death Certificate which gives a very different day of birth for Cora:

Cora Marshall died 11 Feb 1958, in Lubbock, Lubbock Co, TX at her home, 1905 34th St, of coronary thrombosis. She was a widow, age 83, born 15 Aug 1874 in Rogers, AR. Her father was James K. Blake; her mother Amelia Crowder. Maxine Dickinson was the informant. She was buried in Lubbock City Cemetery, on February 13th.
