Noah Durham Comstock

Noah and Ellen were 5th or 6th cousins depending on how one traces the relationship. Both were descendants of Samuel Comstock of Providence.
Noah Comstock was County Treasurer. He served in the Wisconsin Legislature and the State Senate. He collected a large amount of data relative to the Comstock family which was used by his brother-in-law Gen. Cyrus Ballou Comstock in the compilation of the two genealogies which he published. His correspondence relative to the research is in the Manuscript file of Samuel Willett Comstock at the New England Historical & Genealogical Society library in Boston.
