Individual Details

Elizabeth married Augustine Patillo, 18 Sep 1782, Warren Co NC. Her baptism was not recorded at St. James Northam, but their is a gap between the birth of James in 1759 and Mary in 1765 - undoubtedly at least one child was born in that gap. She is listed in this order in the deed of gift of her grandfather. However, the deed of gift does list all the males first, then the females, as many wills of that time list children - Elizabeth could have been born prior to 1756.

Elizabeth Patillo was a purchaser at her father's estate sale in January of 1795. Augustine was already deceased.

p.183 August Court, 1795. John Moseley, dec'd, had been appointed Administer of Augt. Pattillo by the August Court of 1794. There were payments made by John Moseley prior to his death to include payment of the 1793 tax, etc. and to himself. These papers were filed with the court by Ben Kimbell, now Administrator of Pattillo.

A deed of gift reveals a previous marriage for Augustine and that he was living in April of 1794, dead by July of that year.

[I have not been able to place this Anne Mabry within my Mabry family but it is evident from that records that at least two branches of this family were present in Warren Co at this time.]
