16, 1999, at Doctors Hospital. He was born Sept. 24, 1920, in Macoupin County, the son of Columbus Gilman and Ova M. Pippin Fox. He married Marcella L. Cain in 1939 in St. Charles, Mo. Survivors: wife, Marcella L.; two sons, Carl L. (wife, Annette) Fox of Glendale, Ariz., and Keith L. Fox of Nilwood; and a brother, Don (wife, Ruth) Fox of Denton, Texas.
