James T. Lollar was born in Monroe County, Kentucky, December 18, 1839 and died october 6, 1919; aged 79 years, 10 months and 18 days.
He came to Missouri with his parents when just a child and has lived here ever since. He was married to Liddie smith, March 2nd, 1860. to this union, 11 children were born, 7 boys and 4 girls. The mother and four children passed away several years ago.
All the children were present in his last illness but one, Dan, who lived in Oklahoma. Uncle Jim united with the Christian Church at Antioch when a young man and lived a faithful Christian life to the last, and was loved by all who knew him.
He leaves four sons, three daughters, one brother, two sisters, several grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends to mourn his departure.
